Terms of Service
Last updated: 29 June 2026
This is a starting-point template, not legal advice. Have it reviewed by a professional before you rely on it for a public service.
Using Evenly
Evenly helps a household split shared expenses fairly. By creating an account you agree to these terms. You must be old enough to form a binding contract in your country.
Your account
You are responsible for keeping your password secure and for activity under your account. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access. You may invite other people to your household; anyone with a valid invite link can join it, so share links carefully.
Your content
The incomes, expenses, and names you enter are yours. You grant us only the permission needed to store and process them so the app can function. You are responsible for the accuracy of what you enter.
Acceptable use
Do not misuse the service: no attempts to break security or data isolation, no automated abuse, and no use that is unlawful or infringes others' rights.
The split is guidance, not financial advice
Evenly performs an arithmetic split to leave members with equal free money. It is a budgeting aid, not professional financial, tax, or legal advice. You decide how you actually settle money between yourselves.
Availability and changes
We aim to keep the service available but provide it "as is" without guarantees of uptime. We may change or discontinue features. We will give reasonable notice of material changes where we can.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for decisions you make based on the figures the app shows. Keep your own records of anything important.
Ending your use
You can delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms.
